Well, November is here, and once again I'm not up for doing NaNoWriMo. Maybe next year. Which is what I said last year, and the year before, but still.

I've got a little Afro Man doodle that I did some time last week. For various reasons I haven't gotten around to scanning it until now. But anyway, there it is, and... yeah.

So, for whatever reason, I decided to give the tag system another shot. I tried to use it for a little bit back when that feature first got implemented but wound up abandoning it. I may keep up with it this time, though.

For some reason, the dream I had last night was basically like watching an anime about ice hockey. It was neat. It was kind of like what Ike! Ike! Nekketsu Hockey-bu would be if it had been an anime series.

It's been on my mind all day and I kind of want to write a comic like that now.

I can't remember if I've ever mentioned it here or not, but I've long had the thought that it would be interesting to make a hockey-themed fighting game. That is, a game that plays like a proper fighting game, but with characters that all look like hockey players. I can't believe I've been giving so much thought to a sequel to Afro Man lately. It was just some dumb, thrown-together thing I did as a teenager in order to start learning a thing or two about ROM hacking, and now here I am almost ten years later, and I want to do a sequel to it in order to make a version of it that doesn't suck ( Read more... )

Replay Value is online, sorta. I uploaded a WIP version of one of the random ideas from it as a scrap to deviantART just now.

Instead of a novel, maybe I'll try the nanomango approach this year. Not officially or anything, but yeah. Maybe it'll kick my ass into gear on starting Replay Value.
